Office expenses
Parliamentarians are provided with an annual budget for office expenses under s67 of the Parliamentary Business Resources Regulations 2017 (the Regulations).
You may claim, against your office expenses budget, some office and ICT resources for the conduct of your parliamentary business.
One of the Independent Parliamentary Expenses Authority’s (IPEA) key functions is to give personal advice to parliamentarians and their staff and former parliamentarians of parliament about their use of parliamentary travel and office expenses.
Claims for work expenses may be submitted electronically to IPEA through the Department of Finance’s system - PEMS or If PEMS is not able to be used emailing PDF forms.
