This Assurance Review assessed Senator Pauline Hanson’s use of parliamentary work resources to travel to Perth between 26 February and 2 March 2024. IPEA accepts the advice provided by Senator Hanson’s staff that the dominant purpose of the travel undertaken by Senator Hanson was parliamentary business. IPEA found that the use of parliamentary work resources was not inconsistent with the legislative framework.
