Public expenditure reporting

From 3 April 2017, IPEA is responsible for reporting on:

  • all work expenses, travel expenses and travel allowances claimed by parliamentarians
  • travel expenses and travel allowances claimed by MOP(S) Act staff.

Previously, reports on parliamentarians’ expenditure have been released every six months by the Department of Finance.  Over time, reporting by IPEA will shift to a quarterly and then monthly basis to improve transparency and accountability for both parliamentarians’ and MOP(S) Act staff work expenses.

The latest expenditure reports for parliamentarians for the period 1 July 2016 – 31 December 2016 are now available on the Department of Finance website.

Parliamentarian budget reporting

Parliamentarians may request budget reports through the M&PS website.
Request budget report
